History
We relocated to our new office building in Stow, OH on
November 30, 2005 from Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Our branch of Fairway was
opened in November, 1999 by brothers Brian and Mark Thomas. The Fairway
Team in Stow is pleased
to be a part of the nationwide team of Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation
headquartered in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and is celebrating a decade of growth. Founded in 1996 by Steve Jacobson
and Dean Anderson, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation now has 94 branches
and more than 500 employees nationwide! Lending volume for Fairway
Independent Mortgage Corporation was $1.6 billion in 2005 making it the tenth
largest mortgage firm. Fairway is gaining momentum and is poised for the future!
Being part of a larger organization provides us with the systems and the culture
needed to grow in
the residential mortgage finance industry. Branch offices,
like ours, operate autonomously
for day-to-day operations but follow established corporate guidelines while
benefiting from economies of scale through support in the areas of personnel, accounting,
compliance and technology. Because of this, we are able to offer the
reliability of a large company and the friendly, personal touch of a locally
owned business.
